The Seaplane Pilots Association Has Announced That They Will Take A Trip To Lake Como, Italy In October 2016.
The Seaplane Pilots Association (SPA) will take a trip to Lake Como, Italy this autumn to see what seaplane flying in Europe is like, and if you are a member you can join in.
The trip will take place from October 1st to October 9th, 2016 and will be flying out of the Lake Como Seaplane base, the oldest seaplane base in the world. You will be able to fly a large variety of seaplanes including a Lake LA4-200EP; Piper Super Cub; Cessna 172, 172XP, 206, and 305 (Birddog); and the only flying Caproni CA100 biplane.
There will be no extra fees from the Aero Club Como for SPA members joining during this visit and several hotels in Lake Como area will be offering special prices for SPA members.
Pilots interested in joining this trip will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Lake Como, as well as flying, activities, and meals during the experience.
