About SPAS

Using the abbreviation SPAS the group was founded in 1999 as an “association for the promotion of seaplane operations in Switzerland and nearby countries”. Today they count approx. 160 male and female members. There are seaplane pilots, pilots without seaplane rating, r/c seaplane pilots but also seaplane enthusiasts. The goal of SPAS is to spread objective and fact-bound information about seaplanes and to revive seaplane operations in our latitudinal lines.
