It’s Not Seaplanes, But It’s Flying and It’s Amazing

We’ve found an absolutely amazing bit of flying recently put out by Redbull and wanted to share it with all of our readers.

flyingTwo French wingsuit flyers recently took on an almost ubelievable stunt. Following a B.A.S.E. jump from the top of Jungfrau Mountain in Switzerland, the team of Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet, known as the Soul Flyers, attempted to catch up with and fly directly into a flying Pilatus Porter light aircraft in midair.

The project is called “A Door in the Sky,” take a look at the video below to see how it went.

The Soul Flyers have spent several months training for this highly dangerous, but equally highly impressive flight by completing more than 100 test flights in Empuribrava in Spain. Jungfrau in Switzerland is one of Europe’s highest mountains, and as you can see is a beautiful area for flying, wingsuiting, or in this case, both.
