The Northwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show is on schedule for its 2016 show in Puyallup, WA. The event which occurs for the 33rd time this year usually draws large numbers of aviation-minded people in the Northwest. The event this year promises to be interesting for everyone with a passion for aviation.
Some 75 hours of seminars are planned over the weekend. Several safety seminars will delve into nearly all areas of the industry including helicopters, seaplanes, mountain and canyon flying, weather training, and navigation software, as well as various safety topics. Both FAA and AOPA Air Safety Foundation presentations are scheduled. Cost is $5.00/ Day, Hours: Saturday 9A-5:30P and Sunday 10A – 4P. There is free parking and kids under 17 enjoy free admission.
Aviation maintenance experts will be presenting FAA approved maintenance seminars over the weekend. Mechanics can earn credits toward renewal of their certificates. A day prior to the official conference and trade show, the Fourth Annual NW Aviation Career Forum takes place allowing aviation career seekers to learn about a possible career in aviation. Cost is $35 and includes registration for all career tracks, lunch Friday as well as admission to the Conference Saturday (FEB 20) and Sunday (FEB 21). Prior registration is required.
