Alaska Seaplanes Names New Cargo Manager

Alaska SeaplanesAlaska Seaplanes has announced a new Cargo Manager. Tegan McCarty, an experienced member of the Southeast Alaska commuter aviation industry has stepped into a new role at Alaska Seaplanes and will lead the company’s freight operations as its first cargo manager.

“We’re delighted to have Tegan leading our Cargo operations system wide from our base in Juneau. Tegan knows her way around airplanes and has experience both working on the ramp and also in the dispatch office. Customer service is her passion — she knows how to meet the needs of people living in the communities we serve.

“I’m excited to have this new challenge. Alaska Seaplanes continues to grow. I’m ready to grow with this new role and look forward to meeting our customer’s needs working together with some amazing coworkers not just in Juneau, but in each of the communities we serve,” said McCarty.

Alaska Seaplanes is the largest operator of fixed-wing wheel and floatplanes in the Juneau market, serving 11 destinations on a scheduled basis and offering on-demand charter flights throughout Southeast Alaska.
