Unfortunate News From Thursday – Lake Renegade Down*Updated*

Updated: *One person has died as result of this accident* ~ Bad news skipped everyone on Thursday, when a Lake Renegade crashed, leaving four people hospitalized, two in critical condition. We learned through WBAY this afternoon, that the Lake Renegade carrying 3 people had crashed during departure from choppy Lake Winnebago. A first responder was among the injured. Apparently EAA did issue a news release, which skipped us, too. More information may become available once NTSB concludes its initial investigation. Editor Note: News releases have been extremely difficult to get this year as most of the information is disseminated exclusively through Facebook, rather than classical news reports & releases. Not having boots on the ground makes real breaking news coverage from the SPB impossible.
