MT-Propeller Installed 20,000th Constant Speed Prop


MT-Propeller recently manufactured and installed their 20,000th constant speed propeller.

MT PropellerThe owner of the 20,000th MT constant speed propeller, Andrew Birrell, flew in to Atting, Germany from the UK with his KingAir 200 with installed BLR winglets and Blackhawk XP61 PT6A-61 turbines.

At MT-Propeller at the Airport Straubing-Wallmuehle (EDMS) the Whisper Props® / MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR225-55f were installed to give the airplane the jetlike comfort with an overall improved performance.

Mike Carpenter, President of BLR Aerospace, also flew in from the US to congratulate the new owner to his Whisper Props®.

Since the MT turboprop line was established in 1999, more than 2,000 5-bladed turboprops out of the 20,000 total delivered propellers that have been handed over to customers around the world.

The MT 5-bladed props became an industry standard with more than 300 5-bladed turbo props delivered in the year 2017 alone. With a TBO of 3600 hours/6 years and unlimited blade life, these propellers add a higher value to any aircraft.
