Equator Aircraft Norway – Taxi Tests Started

Exciting news from our friends at Equator Aircraft Norway, who just posted a video of their first taxi tests, about 8 hours ago. Nice to see this progress and can’t wait to see it on display during AERO 2018 in Friedrichshafen!

First Taxi Test fully Assembled

First taxi tests with a fully assembled aircraft. A big milestone which kicks off the ground test program. Moving forward it's all about getting out there when the weather is good and put the plane through it's paces on the ground. The ground test program will now continue forth for the next month or month and a half, and hopefully we will not find too many issues in the process, but the whole point of course with doing a lot of work on the ground is to make sure we find any snags that shouldn't be there. We’ve been at the new facility now for 3 weeks. It has been an amazing transition, spending most days opening hatches, checking every detail and calibrating, dialing in everything, from avionics to mechanic control setups just making 100% sure we confident as the aircraft is put through a gradual, step by step increase in terms of speed and handling tests.
