You’ve heard about the new Vashon Ranger R7 backcountry/trainer light aircraft, now see what it looks like in action.
On Monday, March 5th, 2018 we announced the new Vashon Ranger R7; an aircraft that is being marketed as a dependable and affordable option for a trainer plane that can also be used as a very reliable back-country flier.
The Vashon Ranger R7 starts at a price of $99,500 for the base model (which is still pretty well equipped) and goes up to $129,500 for the highest end model, called the Appalachian.
Take a look at Vashon’s promo video below to get a better idea of what the Ranger R7 will look like inside and out, and, more importantly, what it looks like in the sky.
The Ranger R7 is being marketed as a great in-between of a “cheap” trainer, and a modern cockpit aircraft. The controls, avionics, and power-plant have been designed to be both up-to-date, and to last well into the future.
If you are looking for a two-seater plane for training and beyond, to do some recreational flights, the Vashon Ranger R7 definitely looks like something you’ll want to dig deeper into. The Ranger will make it’s public debut this year at EAA’s AirVenture 2018 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
