Update – By popular demand and after receiving several requests, our magazine now has its own RSS Feed Subsciption feature ready for use. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary, and the RSS has revolutionized the way in which users interact with online content. You can find the feature in our websites head section (looks like a little speaker symbol) and clicking on it opens your browsers feed-reader.

Instead of checking back every day to see whats new, RSS feeds give users the ability to simply subscribe to the RSS feed, much like they would subscribe to a newspaper, and then read the updates from the site, delivered via RSS feeds, in what’s called a “feed reader.”

Readers like this leave us with the risk of loosing traffic, because we don’t focus on extremely catchy headlines or raunchy pictures to get the attention, but instead trust that our followers are loyal and at least come look for information within the article.

The RSS feed stands to prove its benefit for our reach here on Seaplanemagazine.com as we can get new articles and information to you more quickly. Over time we will see if this benefits the site in increasing it’s reach.

Meanwhile, work on the subscription and paid subscriber feature continues and we continue to work on finding ways to keep the website competitive as a news site, but most importantly passion driven fun magazine that offers unique articles about our kind of flying.

We are looking for guest editors and to expand strategic partnerships within our industry. Feedback and ideas from our readers and followers is always welcome.
