Kent State University Complements Fleet With Sims

ALSIM has sold two AL250 and two AL172 to Kent State University’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE). The simulators will be installed in their new 18,000 square foot Aeronautics Academic Center, slated to open in mid-2019, located at Kent State University Airport in Stow, Ohio.

Originally opened in 1920 and serving the community for decades, Kent State’s airport is a university asset utilized by CAE’s flight technology program which provides professional aeronautical training to students. Kent State’s seeks to complement its aircraft fleet with the move. The fleet currently includes 27 single-engine Cessna aircraft, two twin-engine Piper Seminoles and three single-engine Piper Arrows.
