Swedish Seaplane Association – 2016 Annual Meeting
Members of the Swedish Seaplane Association have been invited for the 2016 Annual Meeting which will take place March 11 and 12 of 2016. The event is scheduled to take place aboard a ship of Viking Lines and begins at 4PM. Every year there are several seaplane gatherings and other events, both arranged by SSA or through various seaplane associations and via local seaplane owners.
Some of these gatherings are annual events. The purpose of the seaplane gatherings is to arouse interest in seaplane flying, gain new members and build ties between seaplane associations in Sweden, with our neighbors in Scandinavia and of course internationally. These gatherings are an excellent opportunity to meet other members and pilots organized in clubs and to showcase the charm of seaplane flying to interested people.
The association has an active Facebook page as well: https://www.facebook.com/Swedish-Seaplane-Association-279650692168293. Membership starts at SEK 300 (~$35.00/Year) for passive members.
